It's his dream
[This is an outcome of my attempt to bring out similarities between the concept of "Maya" and the movie "Inception", although they are not related anyway.]
It's a dream. A dream that we live in. The dream, called "Maya", governed by "Lord Vishnu" the supreme. It's his dream where he is the dream!
"Lord Brahma", the architect of this dream, creates the subjects, us, in it. And he programs it a priori; where, when and how it starts for us and how it all ends.
And he, who gives the "Kick" to end the whole dream is "Lord Shiva", the destructor. A dream, that lasts a "Maha Yuga", ends with the "Pralaya" - The Kick.
It all begins with an "Inception". Inception of a simple idea, an idea that develops traits like Dharma, Artha, Kama, Krodha, Lobha, Moha, Madha, Matsarya etc; in the mind of "Manu" - the primary subject, that leads to the creation of rest of us, those imaginary figments, identified by souls. This very process within the dream, drives various ideas and actions and fills the dream with zillions of other subjects and subjects' created objects and resulting aspects. Then, the dream becomes reality. Subjects start dwelling on inceptions and live in "Limbo", the never ending dream, the cycle of life and death.
But then, there are a few, who realize this to be a dream, choose to go against "Inception". They go after the supreme knowledge, the manifestation of God, the "Extraction" of truth and that becomes their dream. Then, the truth starts unfolding. The truth, that will wake them up.
And this is what the dreamer wants and why?
It's his dream.
It's his game.

Tollywood Tales
When our "Hero B" rams his car into a truck, the latter flies off in the air a long distance! Our "Hero C" can lift a tractor sky high from an agricultural land. Our lean, mean and strong "Hero M" can crack steel with his fist. Does Mr. Isaac Newton know that his formula for Force "F=ma" doesn't hold true here?
Many a times, a question comes in my mind. "Why don't we make our own unique superhero movies?"
Unfortunately, we all know the answer. So, no matter how many times I ask myself, the question only lasts a moment. "All our movie heroes are superheroes." They are least restrained by the laws of physics.
And then comes the new age superhero who not only does the science defying superhuman stunts, but also demonstrates conscienceless barbarism.
And that's the tale of majority of the tollywood movies. If I can make a senseless movie that is a big box office hit, then you can see a whole bunch of idiots who'll try to emulate the same senselessness and beyond to make some money. They could make good sensible movies. But that's not the "formula" you see!
No movie goes by without demonstrating factionalism - swords and maces drenched in blood, chopping men's heads and limbs so nonchalantly! And the results actually show up somewhere else altogether - on the society we live in. Man's mind is so weak that 'what he sees is what he becomes'. As we can see, the instinctive human reflexes to any conflict have noticeably gone impatient, disrespectful, inconsiderate, merciless and harming. That's the ugly truth.
When comes the cure formula?

Programming is an art, but...
Programmers are not called artists!
The difference between being an artist and a (software) programmer is that, the former can expect quick results but the latter can't. An artist creates his work. An artiste performs live. And if you are one, you can expect appreciation soon after, say after a concert is over! And if you have excelled, then you can expect few more opportunities coming your way. Artistes are used to it. And, they expect it.
If you are a programmer, you do you assigned work. And after a software lifecycle or in your appraisal meeting with your manager, you get appreciated for how well you did your job. Programmers are used to it.
I have a problem. I am both an artiste and a programmer. I am expecting what I am used to in my field of music, in my profession as well. And since that doesn't happen, I am left wondering if I am not performing to my potential.
I was getting frustrated of my growth in my profession and talked to a friend of mine. I told him that I am losing my motivation to do my work. I feel there isn't much appreciation and visibility and I am feeling as if life is getting stagnated. Then my friend told me that I am already doing great and I am just expecting too much from myself. I didn't completely understand it then.
Today somehow, the time difference in cycle of recognition and appreciation in the field of art and in it the field of software crossed my mind. Then, I understood the problem that I have. Probably, I am expecting that results too fast in my profession because I am used to it because of my musical concerts & recordings. I think now I understand, what my friend told me, completely. Probably I am expecting too much. I just need to keep doing what I am supposed to do. Results will come.

I want "TIGERS" to live.
Why are tigers killed? Some idiots make medicines out of their bones. And some egomaniacs wear their skin as a fashion statement or whatever. Result - this day there are only about 1411 tigers left in India. Yes, its the same ill-fated beautiful national animal of India. Irony!
Tiger poaching is not something new. Man's killer instincts have been showing up on a variety of creatures for a long time now - Elephants, Tigers, Koalas and the list goes on. You may consider including humans to the list. No wonder!
What really worries me is that, in less than half a decade, the Tiger population in India has come down to half. And I only hope that we do not see a day when Steven Spielberg makes another movie called "The Lost World - Sunderban Park".
I am no god. I cannot save a Tiger. Neither can I bring one back to life, from its bones or skin. But I can feel for it. Blog about it. Speak about it. And I can urge everyone of you to pass on this information, make people around you aware of this loss, publish articles, post blogs, discuss with friends, and spread consciousness like a wild fire. Who knows, it may save a tiger someday, somewhere!
