When our "Hero B" rams his car into a truck, the latter flies off in the air a long distance! Our "Hero C" can lift a tractor sky high from an agricultural land. Our lean, mean and strong "Hero M" can crack steel with his fist. Does Mr. Isaac Newton know that his formula for Force "F=ma" doesn't hold true here?
Many a times, a question comes in my mind. "Why don't we make our own unique superhero movies?"
Unfortunately, we all know the answer. So, no matter how many times I ask myself, the question only lasts a moment. "All our movie heroes are superheroes." They are least restrained by the laws of physics.
And then comes the new age superhero who not only does the science defying superhuman stunts, but also demonstrates conscienceless barbarism.
And that's the tale of majority of the tollywood movies. If I can make a senseless movie that is a big box office hit, then you can see a whole bunch of idiots who'll try to emulate the same senselessness and beyond to make some money. They could make good sensible movies. But that's not the "formula" you see!
No movie goes by without demonstrating factionalism - swords and maces drenched in blood, chopping men's heads and limbs so nonchalantly! And the results actually show up somewhere else altogether - on the society we live in. Man's mind is so weak that 'what he sees is what he becomes'. As we can see, the instinctive human reflexes to any conflict have noticeably gone impatient, disrespectful, inconsiderate, merciless and harming. That's the ugly truth.
When comes the cure formula?

agree with you completely except 'what he sees is what he becomes'. i have not seen anyone trying to enact any superhero in real life
Prem, the context for that statement was the amount of brutality shown in movies & how it gets into a common man's mind because of its repetitiveness.
Completely Agree and liked this Blog except one place...
"cutting men's heads like goats or chickens"
Sir show some animal love. Even these animals have their right to live. :)
Thanks a lot for you comments "Cahitu". My intension in the post wasn't as understood. Probably I can change the phrase to reflect my thoughts better & clear. Thank you. Btw, I love animals more than human beings :)
If its a formula or not, the only thing that matters is... did it work. And there is nothing like ten commandments that a movie should follow. As long as people feel entertained it is a big good movie.
We are introduced to superhero's from our childhood. To name a few, Veer Hanuman who put entire Lanka on fire, Bheem we all know how he killed keechaka and duryodhana, There is Shiva who in anger beheads a small child in anger. And it goes on. All the superhero's have one thing in common, they fight mercylessly against bad and evil. Thats the law.
So why do we have to shy away with our movies.
Hero is a hero ahd he is a bit more than a comman man.
Just my perception.... No offence please.
